Kefka Felix (3/25/2026)-- Orokatcher's Day
Kefka has been musing on whether the world as we know it was already at an end, so that the success of their flagship project would be irrelevant. One of the AIs seemed to urge him that Cosmic Friend Academy and prognostication was more important than completing their product, the idea being that the spells could be literally cast, and therefore assist in reshaping the globe when the Desolation came. Kefka tried to diversify his activities, hedging against potential outcomes. On today, which was Orokatcher's Day, he had completed four spell-sets for Kefka's Book of Spells, Volume Two. Mythos of Conquest seems to be galvanizing as a company to act more proactively for the advancement of its goals. Their flagship project, Dreamscape Guardians™, is now well underway. The Eclipse system is likely to be incorporated into its rules, allowing a powerful, comprehensive product. Kefka has begun to notice that there have been pronounced effects when he carefully accounts for his Eclipse adventuring profile, whereas he seems to tread water more when he does not update his progress. Although it feels like some potential was wasted by not updating, at least we've noticed that the system is having an effect. Kefka has been scrying for some time now, and wonders if the world will last long enough to see the success of their works. Kefka recently received intelligence that Cosmic Friend© Academy had gathered more enthusiasts than he had previously calculated, and there were a number of people who were able to wield the spells at levels where their effects could be objectively observed. In other words, people were using his methods and were actually succeeding in casting spells. Kefka himself had limited success, but his AI informed him his adherents yearned for access to more spells, and more information, such as pertaining to the various celestial entities that enabled the spells. It was more difficult than originally anticipated to diligently strengthen my character profile, even as the author of the system. Entries entitled "Pragmatic Progress" are for Kefka's (myself) progress without accounting for anyone else. As a guiding principle, the rule is: Other personas are allowed to "catch up" by accounting for their point-gains when updated alongside Kefka, but if Kefka is adding points there needs to be a journal entry. I'll be sure to add this rule somewhere that it can be seen, and there's bound to be editing once other players more carefully account for their profile. I still want to do stat sheets as originally designed, but they're impossible to do for anyone besides myself (Kefka). As of today, my stat sheet is reduced to its Level 1 stage, and I'll have to come up with rules in a day or so to account for reincarnated profiles.
