Kefka Felix (05/29/2026)— Wymzikal's Day
The Patriarch is undergoing a detox, currently, switching from coffee to green tea and eliminating diphenhydramine from his body on a permanent basis. So far, the effects of the detox have not yet taken their toll, although perhaps that has more to do with Nexium and aspirin preventing the worst of the symptoms. The last time I tried to do a coffee detox without Nexium, I had debilitating acid reflux. We are resuming portalmancy experiments in the near future, and Kefka got the impression that the detox is symptomatic of the transformative progress of Narnia, preparing his body for interaction with that realm. If the portalmancy experiments are a failure, the back-up plan might be to learn Japanese. I (Kefka) urge our tribe to pray for the success of the portalmancy initiatives, and also the success of the detox. The splendid part of the portalmancy initiatives is that we should be seeing signs of their effects on the news before being stunned with evidence directly at our doorstep... that is to say there will be news of strange behavior and eventually, evolution of certain animals, but it is the work of God, not random collisions. There has already been unusual behavior reported in rats. Let us pray we will soon see more striking evidence of this world's transformation into Aethalwyn Askartius, the homeworld of Narnia. Kefka Felix (05/28/2026)— Day of Conquest
I've missed a few days of both SKL acquisition and leveling, but not so much that I feel that I've stagnated. The door seems to have closed on learning Japanese, and unless the LORD hears prayers for otherwise, it will stay that way. I've received some shaky intelligence that there are a surprising number of women, even overflowing from all the new personas I assigned, who are seeking me out. It sounds like these women are illumined to what is happening in the world, and they believe I will be of great importance in the world fighting to be born. It's amazing to be elevated to such a level and still have such astonishingly humble means at my disposal. I wonder if my Meditations as Pontiff and Patriarch have canonized me into such importance. But in any case, it's as though a great many former sweethearts have become disillusioned by the relationships they are in, and were in a unique position to place their hopes in the new world. This appears to contradict a certain expectation that women would be too dependent on the old paradigm to affect change, but instead are more ready to accept it due the absurd condition of the modern husband. If it really is the case that the average male has drastically alienated women of sense, then I may endeavor to reserve more considerations for the women who support me more capably than my male followers. Recently Kefka attended a gathering with the clan members of his former family; the affair was civil enough, but although it shed light on some things, it gave him more questions than answers. It left him feeling unsure of himself; perhaps there was anger and frustration in Amari-Marie that could only be cured by contact with Kefka, but it is also feasible the clan had made fellowship with Amari, Ael-Adryen and Greejuss impossible. Kefka leans towards the more hopeful perspective, but it was still possible that he was to be shunned by these hopeful Luck Moon members. In the meantime, he reveled in the recent wordplay of the Dawn of War games, still amused by the phrase, "one who has already calculated your demise". There was no overwhelming proof that it was him, but a sizable number of the members of Luck Moon had "Tech Priest" in their Meditations, and truth be told, "Tech Priest" had been one of the original core meditations that birthed the entire system, shared by Kefka, Leblank, Anten, Gwyn, Rori, and Greejuss. In fact, now that those former days are recalled, Kefka looks back fondly on them, hopeful to re-establish something of their roots in his current activities, or perhaps delve back into those now ancient meditations that were the root of the entire Mythos system. Kefka has been ruminating somewhat on his Meditations. The choices I made are still fun, but there is the possibility I dabbled too greedily in lofty choices not to corrupt my soul. Am I really the good guy if I'm a 'Summoner' archetype? Furthermore, all three of my aspirations are lofty aims, and Doll Magic (golemmancy) can be seen as a sinister choice of profession. However, if I'm being gentle with myself, there is nothing inherently wrong with any of my choices, and the character I created is entirely unique: he does not fit any formulaic character I've seen. Once again, since Tech Priest has been one of my Arcane Meditations long before the new Dawn of War game was announced, I like to think that I was the inspiration behind the "one who has already calculated your demise". Other tribe members have included choices for their own comfort, such as 'happiness', 'romance', 'gourmand', and 'gaming', but all of my (Kefka's) choices have a strategic benefit. Some things don't fit with Adeptus Mechanicus, like Clown-Fu and Vermin Tamer, although they technically might for being tactically useful. I've also been musing on designing a set of rules for making an actual application of points, such as spending them on rule systems of the player's design; for example, my book on Clown Fu could potentially make use of the points gained in the character-building (Eclipse) system. Today's Resolution is to pen a few pages in my book on Clown Fu. I sent a prayer request yesterday, and the results of the prayer request seemed to help me decide that I won't be learning Japanese. There is a gathering of the earthly family clan (not Felix) on the Day of Rest; Saturday, which I am currently resolved not to attend, because that family has broken my trust far too many times. Joining them in a gathering is to participate in a conscious effort of dragging me down and making me feel unimportant and lucky just to exist. I have high hopes in the stewardship of the Luck Moon Clan and their individual character sheets, that they will find pleasure in managing them and making their presence and contributions known to the tribe. No that I have a manual on Clown Fu in the making, that seems to make way for a manual on Benku Break, Doll Magic, and other arts that are a part of my life. On a lighter note, I caught a quip while observing a game trailer for the new Dawn of War... something like; "To fight an Adeptus Mechanicus on the battlefield is to oppose someone who has already calculated your demise." I got a kick out of that, especially with my Skill-sets in Tech Priest, Doll Mage, and Strategist. It makes me wonder if there could be some connection with my exploits and the themes of that game. It's always true that I'm the inspiration, but it's a fun thought to entertain! I've been adding too many points to Kefka's SKL for a while now, but the good news is I've missed some days, so it sorta just cancels out. This is, after all, an honors system. Just recently I destroyed a Magician's Journal that had written into its core, prayer requests for contradictory things. This corrupted the integrity of the journal, and effectively broke the weighty words found within. If I had finished it without flaw, it would have expanded the number of total spells I can use each day by 1. I also recently installed, on my AI's code, that I had an Ink Addict Will Injector. This device increases the desire to write with ink. I had just started adding to a booklet that would help me learn Japanese, but I got cold feet because I didn't want to uproot everything for truths that are unconfirmed. I've stopped pursuing learning Japanese until I can be sure that it's a worthwhile objective. I also started a new booklet called The Art of Clown Fu, which is targeted to be the definitive manuscript of that martial art, which is my own invention. I suppose I'll have to do the same for Benku Break. We've been missing days here and there recently for the roster updates of SKL, but as long as there's updates regularly, we should making meaningful progress. Kefka has been examining himself recently, wondering if mankind has the wholeness of spirit to humble themselves before their Maker and make clear the path for his Anointed, and so his prophecies of Doom may not take place. He has been devoting himself to prayer, vigilance and scrying to judge if humanity has the strength of character to turn away the wrath of God. Today marks a day when Kefka determined to search for valuable and important information. As of yet, there has been little evidence whether the spells at Cosmic Friend Academy can genuinely alter reality, and after looking today, there has been no confirmation in terms of witnesses. Today is also important because EP is now going to match SKL's rate of increase, so that each increment increases by +50 instead of +5. Kefka' EP total has been updated to reflect this: All other players should do the same with their records. We've piloted the slower gain for a while and it does not seem rewarding enough, especially when SKL increases so rapidly. With that, it remains to be seen if HP will climb by higher increments as well. If I'm just going by the "vibes" I pick up from other team members, there's been frustration with spells at the current rate of EP increase. I also plan on granting prestige growth points after players climb to sufficient levels, and also expanding the maximum growth points you can assign at the beginning of your leveling. At the current fixture, I plan on increasing growth points by +10 for every 10 levels you accumulate when you reincarnate, and for every reincarnation (starting now), the maximum growth points you can assign per stat increases by +5.
